Athletics

  • Congratulations to the Junior Boys Soccer Team on an excellent showing at the KSS Soccer Tournament this past Friday. The team won their first two games with 4-0 and 3-0 shutouts against their opponents, and tied 1 all in the Semi-Final game against Holy Cross, which was ultimately decided for the opposing team in a shootout. Although the KSS Junior Boys did not move on to the final, we were impressed with the skill and teamwork they showed throughout the day as well as their composure on and off the field. Special mention goes to our goal keeper Jack for his excellent result in net as well as to Simon, Malcom, Nathan Arlain and Mirel who scored some brilliant goals over the course of the day! Please excuse the Junior Boys at 1pm today for their first game of the KASSAA season against La Salle. Go Bears!

  • The Junior Boys' Soccer Team jumped into a quick 3-nil lead against LaSalle yesterday thanks to the heroic efforts of Nathan Arlain who potted a brace, and Alec Ritchie with a third. The Bears had the vast majority of the chances but let the Knights back into the match with a couple of goals, before Malcolm Broeders was able to seal the win in the 75th minute. Will Kerr was a beast in the back line with excellent support from Chris White at his side. Excellent all round effort gents. It's Regi on Wednesday in the big house!
  • The senior boys soccer team opened their league season with a convincing 9-1 win over LaSalle. Goals scorers were Justus Schiller with 3, Pranjol Das with 2 and Jacob Nikiforuk, Jacob Panetta, Baraka Nyale and Dante Law with 1 each.  Come cheer for the team as they play Regi on Wednesday at 2:30 at Richardson Stadium.
